Teva was born in the Grand Canyon back in 1984, when a river guide rigged two Velcro watchbands to an old pair of flip flops and created a shoe that wouldn’t float away. Three decades later, we’ve grown up into an icon of comfort and utilitarian style.

Since 1957, our innovative gear designs have set the standard in numerous areas.

Making stuff is fun. Even little kids know that. We like to think of the Peak Design office as a preschool arts-and-crafts table with fancier materials, louder tools and about the same amount of pants-peeing. When it comes to making stuff, we believe that less is more and that simplicity yields elegance. We believe that versatility should be baked in so that our products are used in ways that we never even imagined. We believe products should solve real problems and not invent them. When we launch products, we never stop trying to improve them. Lastly, we believe that people who use and love our gear deserve a lifetime guarantee.

The name LIVSN comes from the Swedish word "livsnjutare," which roughly translates to "one who loves life deeply; an enjoyer of life." This journey started with a mission to simplify our belongings. With less to manage there's more time in the day, and with more time comes flexibility. We know we won't regret more time outside - or with friends - or with family.
To live an experience-filled life we need clothing that stands up to serious usage and looks so good we can to wear it every day. That way we can own less stuff overall, and what we do own we can feel good about.
We value quality goods and memorable experiences over the accumulation of cheap things. Our chosen path to sustainability is less stuff, and we’re not alone.
