Meet the Trailpeak: Teva's Lightest Trail Runner Yet

Teva just dropped its Fall 2026 collection, and the headliner is one we've been waiting to talk about: the Trailpeak, Teva's first-ever shoe co-created with athletes from the Teva Bureau of Adventure (TBA).

Built By the People Who Actually Run the Trails

Instead of designing in a vacuum, Teva handed early prototypes to TBA ultrarunners Erin Ton and Mike Wardian and let them beat the shoe up on real, technical terrain — sharp switchbacks, rocky scrambles, the kind of ground that exposes a bad shoe fast. Every round of feedback shaped the next version, all the way through to what's landing on shelves this fall.

The result, according to Teva's Director of Advanced Concepts & Innovation Zack Paris, is a shoe that shows what's possible when you design alongside the people who test it every day.

• Featherweight — At roughly 8.3 ounces per shoe (men's size 9), it's the lightest trail runner Teva has ever made.

• Hyper Comf Plus midsole — Teva's cushioning platform, tuned here for a nimble, responsive ride rather than max stack height.

• Internal support cage — Locks the foot down for stability on uneven, technical ground without adding bulk.

• Spider Rubber Endure outsole — Built for grip on the loose, rocky, root-strewn terrain the Southeast throws at you.

Teva's positioning it as the shoe for shorter, faster efforts — quick on the climbs, secure coming back down — rather than a max-cushion all-day hauler.

Why It Matters for Us Down Here

The Southeast isn't exactly known for buttery-smooth singletrack. Between the roots, the rock gardens, and the elevation changes from the Cumberland Plateau to the Blue Ridge, a shoe that's light and stable on technical ground is exactly what a lot of our local trail runners have been asking for. This is the first shoe out of Teva's TBA program, so it's also a good look at where the brand's performance line is headed.
